About the faculty
The Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering runs two programmes at Danang Architecture University: Transport Construction Engineering (7580205) and Infrastructure Engineering (7580210). Graduates receive an engineering degree after 4.5 years of study.
The faculty's lecturers specialise in bridge and road construction, water supply and drainage, and the environment, and teach the courses on the design and construction of bridges, roads and urban technical infrastructure.
The programme focuses on practice and professional skills: teamwork, communication, professional conduct and ethics. Students are assessed on design work, end-of-term design projects, presentations defending their ideas and internship reports with feedback from employers.
Mission and vision
Mission
To train transport construction and infrastructure engineers with solid expertise, command of specialist software and professional ethics; to link teaching with consulting and construction firms and infrastructure projects, contributing to Danang Architecture University's mission of training high-quality human resources ready for international integration.
Vision to 2030
To become a respected, application-oriented centre for bridge, road and infrastructure engineering education, embracing digital transformation in the design, construction and management of works, and growing with the University into a smart university.
Fields of study
Bridges
Design of reinforced concrete and steel bridges, bridge construction planning, and computer applications in bridge design.
Highways
